"Reflection is a flower of the mind, giving out wholesome fragrance; but revelry is the same flower, when rank and running to seed."
~ Desiderius Erasmus

I have to sheepishly admit that I am a morning person, despite grumblings at times to the contrary. It’s usually the responsibilities of the day that put more of a damper on my enthusiasm than the prospect of it being early morning. Truth be told I spring out of bed in the morning with the sun and like to squeeze every minute of light out of every God given day to the detriment to some of those around me. I especially like sunrise photography when it comes to shooting landscapes, there’s a certain hue quality to the colors cast by the rising sun that affects everything. I guess it can be attributed to the clear skies that haven been swept clean of smog and dust during the night hours that lend this uniqueness or maybe I’m just a plain old crazy morning person. What ever the case is here are some shots from the local fields before they are readied for spring planting.. cheers.
