The Grotto

"One just principle from the depths of a cave is more powerful than an army."
~ Jose Marti

The Grotto at Bruce National Park is not only a cool place to check out but a popular launching point for scuba divers & snorkelers gaining access to the Georgian Bay through a large underwater opening. It’s also a challenging shot to capture and a flash shot just isn’t going to cut it if you want the translucent quality of the water. So after scaling our way down with gear in hand and wading across the water me Trevor patiently waited out the ripples & other visitors to get this shot…

Note: I’ve offered this photo & the photograph of the Red Tailed Squirrel as a donation to Bruce Peninsula National Park & Fathom Five National Marine Park. It appear that they will use both in their visitors center come June 2006.
