The East Bank from Dětský Ostrov

"The ancient splendor and beauty of Prague, a city beyond compare, left an impression on my imagination that will never fade"
~ Richard Wagner

Watching the sky change its mind was something. I ended up shooting the sequence for the panorama twice. As I put away the tripod to keep heading along the Vltava the sun broke through the clouds and illuminated the east bank. So, I did it again.

I shot this with the 12-24mm f4. Even at the full 24 mm there was sufficient distortion of the lines that I had to futz around in Photoshop to correct it.

As I post this I am waiting for the rain to settle down so I can head down again.
