Big Cat Naps

"A lion's work hours are only when he's hungry; once he's satisfied, the predator and prey live peacefully together."
~ Chuck Jones

We left Marblehead Ohio last night just after ten at night and got in at close to three in the morning. I have a serious case of “I need some sleep” and the coffee is not cutting it.

Reaching back into the archives on this photograph. A lioness passed out after a meal. I chose the crop to hide the scraps of what ever was for dinner. Not because its distasteful in anyway but rather it created some visual noise for me. A rather low f-stop to keep the noise down and I am not sure if that was worth it or if I should have increased the ISO and just dealt with it for improved sharpness.
