Rick and Jaron at the Black Hole Bistro

"Style used to be an interaction between the human soul and tools that were limiting. In the digital era, it will have to come from the soul alone."
~ Jaron Lanier

Rick Sacks and Jaron Lanier take a moment outside of the Black Hole Bistro before starting their set. These two gentleman were fantastic to chat with and all round nice guys. They were also two polar opposite personalities and absolutely nothing like they had been described.

Rick and Jaron played an acoustic set in the small quarters of the bistro. Jaron took the time to explain the instruments he used and their impact on our society before delving into the next piece. The music, a mix of jazz, experimental and rhythmic song. All around a great time and an absolute nightmare as far as lighting was concerned.
