Dew Droplets

"What youth deemed crystal, Age finds out was dew."
~ Robert Browning

I don’t think I nailed the composition on this one and I should have used a tripod. I should have learned by now that when I make the conscious decision to be lazy and not get the tripod out and frame the shot I end up regretting it when I get back home.

A tripod would have gained me the needed DOF (f-stop) to pull more of the plant into focus without worrying about camera shake and the associated blur.

Courtesy of @Ge_Willi I have been educated that it is in fact not a fern as I had assume but ” equisetum more commonly known as horse tail”. Thanks Geoff
